In the second novel, Pelagia and the Black Monk, Sr Pelagia investigates strange events in a remote island monastery in Bishop Mitrofanii's diocese (on the islands in the fictitious Blue Lake).

It's not as good as the first Sr Pelagia mystery - this felt a bit stilted and disjointed.
