Apparently this is a collection of short stories. I think I picked it up off the shelf in the Rose & Crown, Walthamstow. The cover on my copy is just text, and not the almost Pythonesque one featured here.

One of the best collections of short stories I've ever read. There are so many ideas packed into such a slim volume it's almost mind-blowing. Brilliantly imagined dystopian futures alongside more prosaic tales of friendships or family. This is a really great little book. Perfect for tube reading.
