Cream Puff Murder (Hannah Swensen Mysteries)
4 journalers for this copy...
Paraphrased from the back of the book: "With a dress to fit into, bakery owner Hannah Swensen drags herself out of bed on a frigid Minnesota morning for exercise. But if that weren't bad enough, she discovers the body of man-eating Ronni Ward floating in the gym's jacuzzi, with a plate of The Cookie Jar's very own cream puffs garnishing the murder scene. Trying to narrow the list of Ronni's enemies down to fewer than half the town's female population, Hannah has her plate full. Trouble is, when it come to cookies--and to murder--there's always room for one more..."
Another well-done installment in the series. Recipes, as usual, are included, and as usual, I had to try one out for a friend's annual Christmas cookie-exchange party. The Pistachio Winks had a good texture and a mild pistachio flavor. I think my pottery chicken was hoping I would leave one for her.

Chosen from bookpatch's Cozy Mystery Book Box. I just finished one by this author, so guess I'll try another.
Such a fun little book, though every chapter left me hungry. And I can't wait to try the Carrot Cake Cookies with Cream Cheese Frosting!

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Adding to the ABC Author Bookring the Letter "F".
Picking this book from the F author bookring. Thank you for sharing.
I'm always looking for something light and intriguing and this fits the bill. This is the second Fluke book I have read. I picked this book up through the Mystery VBB.
There was enough suspense to keep you on your toes. I wish the character will make up her mind about her love life....at the age of the characters this doesn't work well with this adolescent "I don't know who I love" scenario.

Enjoy! Off to NancyNova from the ABC VBB. Moving this book along.
checking this one in. Thanks!
