What fun! Apparently the publishers re-issued the early Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys books in hardcover with vintage cover art. Based on the copyright dates, I'm guessing this cover painting is from the 1957 edition (although I suppose it could be 1966).
I had all the Nancy Drews and my brother got the Hardy Boys, but I read some of his too..and watched Parker Stevenson & Shaun Cassidy on TV. ;)

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Team Battleship's chance card "retro" release for Monopoly turn 11: a new edition of an older story - complete with vintage cover art - left outside a store specializing in antiques and vintage clothing on the off chance that it might find a new reader there. Couldn't find a cabin nearby, but the book was released on an island...
Also released for my Middle-of-the-year number challenge and Davros-10's TV Challenge.
