When Megan Ward goes missing, suspicion falls on the stalker seen outside her house. The police would love it to be so simple, but the closer they look the more mysterious Megan herself becomes. They find no photos, no passport, no family or friends from an earlier life. Only the corrupted computer files in Megan's strangely impersonal room.

Meanwhile Patrick Doran, owner of Safe Hands Security, is living his own nightmare. A hacker has breached his computer network, where he thought he had safely buried his past. But when her landlady is murdered, the shadowy Megan re-emerges. And the woman who supposedly doesn't exist becomes very real, very elusive and very dangerous.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book which had me hooked from the start with it's good storyline & credible likeable characters. I'd never read (or even heard of!) this author before but now have this books predecessor on my TBR mountain.
I hope there will be more in this series to follow as personally I'd like to see Megan Ward make a come-back - think her & Foster could make an amusing team :o)

At last! I've finally passed my "readers' block!"
Having started and not finished 2 books since JULY I thought I'd never read again, but thankfully "Now You See Me" did it for me.
As Plum-crazy said, it is gripping from the start - especially in the details of the computer hacking: this stuff really does exist.
I love the references to the streets of Liverpool - I had a day there last year and enjoyed recognising many of the landmarks.

Thank you so much, Plum-crazy.
