Not read for a while. Prequel to the Galactic Milieu books, and to some extent the Saga of the Exiles.

I found a hardback copy very cheaply, so this my paperback is up for grabs.

Fantastic - my first catch! I saw on the 'Go Hunting' page that this book had been released close to where I live two days previously, and thought it likely that it would still be there.
The old colliery wheel is a great release spot - it's close to a main road and a car park, but set far back enough from the road so that you actually have to get quite close to the wheel to see the book - much less chance of passing yobs happening across the book and destroying it.
I was delighted when I saw the book was still there - although I felt a bit like a spy, walking around the spot in the dark, then grabbing the package, getting back into my car and driving away!
The book's subject (sci-fi) is not really my thing, so I'm not planning to read it.
Rather, I'll hang onto it until I find a REALLY GREAT spot to release it - after all, your first re-release of something you caught in the wild should be something special!

The book arrived safely in today's mail, along with the lovely card; many thanks! I asked for this book because a friend of mine's been looking for a copy for a while now; this will be going to her. [I feel rather badly for doing another "passed along unread" to this book, but (a) it's part of a series, none of which I've read, and I hate to start in the middle; (b) it looks to be hard-science-fiction, which isn't a favorite genre of mine; and (c) it's huge {grin}. If my friend comments on it favorably maybe I'll reconsider someday!]
