Final volume in the Henry 11 and Eleanor of Aquitaine trilogy. A story of passion, politics and betrayal and King Henry 11 finds himself betrayed by his wife and 3 eldest sons. A great read although Sharon Penman can tend to labour points at times. Good view of history that ended with Richard the Lionheart and King John.
