Left in the waiting area of the service department of a car dealership. Always lovely people and service there.

You may be new to BookCrossing (as am I) but the basic premise is that:
Members release books "into the wild" or exchange them with friends, family, or others on the site. When a book is "caught" by someone, it is (hopefully) entered on this site and then the book's journey is tracked through time.
Finders can also leave a journal entry when they find the book and/or after reading the book with thoughts, etc. Then can release it (however they please) and see where it travels next! (When releasing, see "make release notes" above).
