WILD RELEASE NOTES:
This book has been languishing on my to be read shelf for YEARS, but finally came off it when a friend picked it as her choice for book club. I found this slow going read - much harder than I remember The Mayor of Casterbridge being. Basically, im glad it's over... :)
I have friend who has Tess makes them very angry, and I can see their point, though I wasn't angry myself...
I've left this in the Living Room, on the first floor of the New Wing. Tess is hidden in the low lying book cases that are in the middle of the room ( who knows if she'll be found again!). I heartily recommend visiting the Isabella Stewart Gardener Museum ( entry is free if your name is Isabella!)
