Once in a house on Egypt Street, there lived a china rabbit named Edward Tulane. The rabbit was very pleased with himself, for he was owned by a girl named Abilene, who treated him with the utmost care and adored him completely.
And then, one day, he was lost.
A lovely book, haunting for a children's book, but lovely nonetheless. I hope the finder can appreciate it as much as I have.

The Calgary BookCrossers celebrated our post-Christmas and New Year with High Tea at The Dove's Nest. This book was the one I selected as a wrapped book, with only the first sentence revealed.
As a bunny-fancier, I can't wait to read it!

This went straight to the top of TBR when I got home. When I couldn't sleep last night I started straight into in and finished with my morning coffee!
With apologies to the Edward of the title, my prior entry said I was a bunny-fancier. Sorry to offend you, Edward, please let me amend that to rabbit-fancier!
This dear book has the loveliest illustrations to complement the story about understanding and feeling love. It will be very hard for me to part with this, but I know many readers await such a tale. Thank you!

Releasing at the January Calgary BookCrosser meet-up at the Joshua Tree Café.
Picked up this book at the Calgary BookCrossing January meet-up. I was won over by the cute bunny and the wonderful pictures.
Oh my gosh, this was such a cute book. It's an easy book to dismiss, missing toy bunny, big whoop, right? But there's so much more to the book than Edward getting lost. He gets to meet people and go on a journey, both physically and emotionally. You really feel for him when he finds his home again.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Releasing this book at the Calgary BookCrossing February meet-up. If it didn't go home with someone it's on the bookshelf.
Interesting...same author as The Tale of Desperaux. Whoohoo! Looks like a fast read!
I just finished this sweet little book, and I loved it! It made me wonder about the lives of the toys that we loved, not that any of my toys would have had an amazing life like Edward. I never thought that a little book like this would bring out so many emotions, thank you so much for passing this one across the table at me. You were so right! I did love it!
I will be bringing this book back to the group at July's meetup at Cravings Market.
Brought this home from the July BookCrossing meeting.
A sweet book with a lesson we all can learn.
Taking this to the December BookCrossing meeting to be enjoyed by the next reader.
Picked up at get together
The story didn't start quite the way I thought it would! But it was a very heartwarming story of a bunny learning to love.
Thanks for the great read!

Taken to get together
Picked this book up at October meeting, but haven't read it yet.
This is a very sweet book about a china rabbit and his journeys through a lifetime. As you read you think he is human and it keeps you reading to see all his adventures. This is a great book to read to your kids and grand kids
Returning to Calgary BookCrossing group
Got these from a BookCrosser to return to circulation. I am sorting the books and either passing directly to a Calgary member who has requested it or returning it to the person who introduced it to the group. Hopefully this one will find a new reader soon!
