I couldn't resist going to the Millennium Library book sale to look for books for release in next year's Canada Days release challenge. I've already decided that the theme for the challenge will be mysteries and thrillers so that's what I was looking for. And I found them. This is just one book of 19 that I picked up.

I left this book on the viewing mound south of the information centre. This release is for the 2013 Canada Days Release Challenge to send Canadian books out into the wild. The special theme for this year's challenge is mysteries and thrillers. William Deverell is possibly the first Canadian mystery writer that I ever read. Needles won the Seal First Book award in 1979 and Deverell has gone on to win other awards. A former lawyer he can be scathing about the law but he also knows all the ins and outs. Enjoy!

Nothing as yet. Came across it at Oak Hammock Marsh on Sunday 23rd June 2013.My Mother is currently visiting and she will be in possession of the book until she drops it off somewhere in the near future. Watch this space.
