This was one of the most exciting thrillers I have read in years. I hated to put it down even to go to bed or do chores around the house!
Although the Assassin traveled around the world and was chased by the Secret Service there were some shocking surprises and I recommend you fasten your seatbelt and enjoy the ride :)

Now ready for a new reader!

Thanks for the book. I hope I like it as well as you did, as this is a thick book.

What a good book! I would have given it a 9 1/2 but that wasn't one of the choices. This story had a little of everything, kidnappers, Islamic terrorist, a plot to topple Israel and America, a woman victim of a brutal hijacking, and a ruthless madman for Secret Service agent Scot Harvath to find a bring to justice. A real page turner.

This is the first Brad Thor book that I have read. I didn't think I'd like it, but I was wrong. I thought it was a very interesting story. Scot Harvath reminds me of Jack Reacher only on a world stage instead of only in the United States. This held my attention all the way through. I recommend it to anyone who likes a lot a action.

"Caught" this in the mail yesterday as a Wishlist RABCK! Thank you!

2005 Pocket Books trade paperback. This was on my list of best modern thrillers to read.

I can let this go after I read:
2002 The Lions of Lucerne [read 2022]

Edit April 18, 2023: This was good, but I just skimmed to end for time. It sounds like I probably would have enjoyed a careful read of this one, but so little time, and so many thrillers. I am in the middle of a great Jack Reacher thriller and a great classic John D. MacDonald thriller, so I have to choose my battles to read. This runs long, as a drawback, so I currently have this ranked at #4741 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.

... in the box.

And please visit the next meetup of TriValley BookCrossing group, at Panera Bread in Dublin, the second Tuesday of each month.

Aside from loving shared books, my main passion in life is supporting the human rights work of my good friend, Anni Cyrus. 💖 💖 Her life story of survival as a childhood refugee is astounding, and quite moving!

The Big Tech cabal unfairly shadow-bans and twists a narrative agenda against real freedom truth-tellers like Anni, but please look her up anyway on Google, DuckDuckGo, and YouTube, etc., and make a compassionate judgment. You can also follow her on Facebook and Telegram, among other platforms.
