Oops, I found another source for my addiction lol. The Habitat for Humnaity Thrift Store in Cornelius, NC has fill a big bag for $2.00. And the books are arranged on shelf by author. Happy to trade with USA and Canada.
When I finish my current read, Sleeping Beauty by Judith Michael, c. 1991, I will start this one. I literally roll the dice to see what I'm going to read next.
Some fun/poetical/philosophical quotes follow:

The house was filled with the light, heat and magic of Mozart, the scent of expensive perfume and the incomparable sweetness of fresh flowers. The brilliant crush of women's dresses looked like fields of swaying tulips, and it was almost impossible to pick out individuals as the patterns changed... p21
[comment: I was attracted to the tulip imagery]
His voice was dry as ash. p174
[comment: okay, this one is a bit cliche but it is still interesting]
They'd arrived [by plane] on the station at sunset when the sky was blindingly beautiful and the immense landscape beneath them, rain-soaked after long months of drought, was a universal fiery red densely embroidered with floral medallions like the most sumptuous Persian carpet. p244
