The gentleman Bertie Wooster and his man Jeeves are here again. And as usual, Bertie and friends are getting engaged and in trouble and its upto Jeeves to sort things out.

I absolutely love the TV version with Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry, the books, I thought, weren't quite as good (though they are the originals) but entertaining nevertheless.

I completely forgot about this relay, I mean I knew I signed up for it but remembered it being stuck at one of the first letters. And there are some other Alphabet-themed VBBs bumping up the BR forum, so I didn't notice this one was still alive.

*shelf-digging for an appropriate 'X' book in progress* Actually, more like investigating the target bookshelf, I found at least three suitable reads, now let's see which one fits best. It seems X is way more easy to find than I first expected.

I actually finished this book awhile ago but never did make a journal entry for it. The stories are quite amusing and Bertie gets into the most ridiculous situations. It is interesting to read about the life of the upper crust in England so many decades ago, especially when the life is presented in a humorous way.

Note: This book was sent off in June of 2017 to NancyNova of Pennsylvania, USA as the book starting with the letter "V" for the ABC bookrings organized by Iwillrejoice of Florida, USA. No journal entry was made as my computer was not working and I was preparing to leave for a trip and preoccupied.

Arrived in the "V" book title bookring. Looks interesting.
