The renowned classic among horse lovers is back in print! Here is a bonanza of fascinating facts and human-interest anecdotes about thirty-seven remarkable horses all shaped into affectionate and appealing short stories.

There is something here to please every taste: thoroughbreds, Clydesdales, Arabians, jumpers, broncos, RCMP stalwarts and even the reliable old farm horse and faithful school pony.

Grant MacEwan was a much-loved author who also had a long and distinguished career as an agriculturalist, lecturer, show-ring judge, politician and public servant in Western Canada. He died in June 2000.
