Dragon imagery and plots of courage and despair from the Tale of Beowulf and Chinese legends give shape and coherence to stories of 22 women who overcame the breast cancer by joining dragon boat teams in Canada. These women's sensitively told stories ought to inspire legions of women to take to their boats! If you want to do a good deed, by several copies of How to Ride the Dragon to bring comfort to patients in doctors' waiting rooms, oncology offices, and radiology centers.
