Mystery writer and amateur sleuth Jessica Fletcher visits Moscow as part of a United States publishing group to help Russia succeed as a democracy. But the poisoning of a Russian publisher, who possessed information which could topple the government in power, places her in a dangerous situation. Jess turns to the American Embassy for help, only to discover that the United States government is involved.
I expected for a great crime mystery, because it's Jessica Fletcher, but I ended up reading an irritating story about her stupidity while staying in Russia. Not even going to finish. Reserved for lamelemon as a part of Wishlist Tag game, hopefully, she'll enjoy it.
Sent to lamelemon as a wishlist tag game present.
Thank you so much 727 for this Wishlist Tag Game book! I loved watching the TV show and I've recently read another one of the series so I hope I'll enjoy this one as well :)
This was an easy and fairly entertaining read. The whole "not now, I'll explain later" routine was annoying, though. I'm not very happy with all the explanations in the end, and the writing felt superficial. Then again, it's a mystery novel, I don't get to complain about that. What really annoyed me, though, were the names of Mr and Mrs Staritova. Mr Staritova, seriously?
Wow, I held on to this book for almost three years. Time to see where it will travel next. Thank you once again for sharing!

Found the book at Smart hotel, an acceptable hotel for Norway's standards but a no-go 0-rating hotel for the rest of the world! Anyways this is an entey about the book, not the hotel, but avoid this hotel.
I found the book, liked this concept and decided to leave it there for the time being. Maybe another time..
