Quite an interesting read about a way of life I didn't really know anything about.

A very interesting read. Very impressive. Had I not had visitors, I would have read it in one sitting.
Giving a view from inside on the Amish life and religion and how hard (or easy) it can be to come to peace with what it demands.
A very readable account of Ira Wagler's youth and adolescent years and the turmoil he went through.

Received the book today. Thank you!
Very nice description of one man's life journey and a good look inside of Amish life besides. I really enjoyed this book. Thank you again for sending it, poodlesister!
The book is going to travel to Finland next! Enjoy!
The book arrived yesterday. Thank you grovalskii!
I have not read a book about the Amish before so I found especially the descriptions of small cultural differences between different groups very interesting. I liked the writing style so I looked up the writer's blog too. I would recommend that for others too who liked the book.

Well, this was sort of interesting, but too melodramatic and repetitive for my taste. After reading it, now I think that I could have safely stopped half-way and still not missed anything, since everything he had to say had been said by that point...
