when I read the book prior to this, I had a very hard time with the story. This started out much easier to get into before delving back into the troubling relationship between Cherijo and her creator Joseph Grey Veil. I really enjoyed this continuation of the Star Doc story, and while I hadn't been sure about continuing on, I think that I will keep reading this series.
