Picked this up from the Cross Canada Book Box today! Thank you, Pooker3 for adding it to the box :) It will definitely be read and passed along, though it may be a little while before I get to this one...I found 5 great books today and so my "to be read" pile is quite large now!

I really liked these short stories, they gave an interesting perspective of life in Western Canada. The characters were honest and although many of the protagonists were morose in tone, they were all likeable. The fact that the stories weren't laid out in chronological order also helped to tie the characters together and give unique views into specific times in their lives. Very well written!
This book is off to Kingston with my brother :) Hopefully it will continue on its journey from there!
