Students at a boarding school discover that someone in their class is a witch. Who is it? Will the Inquisitors catch the culprit?

Interesting because the world of this book is very much like our own...except that witches (and active prosecution of witches) are a very real part of life.

There's also a late appearance by Chrestomanci..which I didn't know was a title, since this is the first of the associated books I've read. This one is actually a bit of an oddball since it fits in to the series only tangentially.
