Truth, Justice, Freedom, Reasonably Priced Love, and a Hard-Boiled Egg!
Commander Sam Vimes of the City Watch, Duke and soon-to-be father, suddenly finds himself back in his own past - just in time to experience the People's Revolution of the Glorious Twenty-Fifth of May for the second time.
Can he catch the escaped murderer, keep his younger self alive, and prevent history from claiming his friends once more? And if he does succeed, will he have a future to go back to?
Oh, and since this a Discworld book, I had to use the turtle bookplate, didn't I? :)

Fans of Terry Pratchett "wear the lilac" on May 25th in honor of the events in this book, and to promote research on Alzheimer's disease. This particular copy of Night Watch - wearing a black fedora adorned with lilacs for Sir Terry - is being released outside the Aloha Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association (2nd floor of Ward Warehouse) on May 25, 2012 for Vekiki's Monopoly Game: Turn Four and a Bit.
