WILD RELEASE NOTES:

This book was released in honor of Towel Day, http://www.towelday.org/. We chose to honor the memory of author Douglas Adams by releasing this book, along with a towel and a small origami Ballycumber (with his own mini-origami-towel) at the Towel Headquarters of the Western World, commonly known as "Bed, Bath & Beyond".

In an effort to educate the public in the many uses of towels by inter-stellar travellers, Team Battleship hired two towel models to demonstrate proper towel usage for various circumstances. The Green Towel Model is portraying someone who is cold and using the towel to wrap up in for warmth (note the addition of washcloths sewn on to the corners to be used as mittens). The Blue and White Striped Towel Model is demonstrating the proper way to wear a towel to cover your face to avoid breathing in noxious fumes (note that a different method is preferred for avoiding the gaze of the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal). Other towel usages were demonstrated, but could not be photographed due to the steadily growing crowd watching the models.

We hope that our efforts to educate the public (or at least Loudoun County) about Towel Day, interstellar travel, and the many uses of towels was a rousing success!
