I'm happy to give this time-travel novel a go, although my reactions to the many modern Jane Austen spin-offs can be very mixed! This looks like fun :-)

She also gave me Rude Awakenings of a Jane Austen Addict, saying the reading order was probably irrelevant but as Confessions was published first I intend to read it first!

It's a Body-Swap book! How would you cope if you woke up in Regency England instead of 21st century L.A.? At first Courtney Stone, despite being a self-confessed Jane Austen addict, books and films, seems dreadfully ill-prepared for her adventure as Jane Mansfield - but she soon gets the hang of it!
In the belief that Rude Awakenings is about Jane Mansfield facing life as Courtney Stone, I'll probably read it sooner rather than later ....

Not a book to be taken seriously (don't even try!) but if you just go with the flow & accept the idea of body-swapping, you'll find it passes an amusing hour or two....& I have to say, it was better than I expected it would be. I'm quite looking forward to seeing what Jane makes of Courtney's world :o)

Arrived this morning with lots of bookmark and mini USA chocolates direct from Plum-crazy's recent holiday not that I got a look in on the Hershey bars but judging by the lack of leftovers I think the kids enjoyed them ;)
