Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man
3 journalers for this copy...
I've been decluttering my shelves, and this hardcover's among the books that, while I enjoyed them, I think I can part with now. The premise is in the title; a woman enlists her gay best friend to offer advice on how to please a man. Sounds like a subject for a sitcom, right? It's breezy and amusing, and does include a number of explicit hints and tips, though I can't help thinking that if most of the suggestions were unknown to straight women, they weren't very adventurous {wry grin}. Still, many of the suggestions include ways to ease into a new technique, or to explore a new part of your lover's body. Others seem far too aggressive for me - following a hot stranger all the way to his door, for example.
I'm putting this book in my LGBT-themed shrinking bookbox, which will soon be on its way to its first stop with quietorchid in Minnesota. Hope everyone enjoys it!
Taken with thanks from GoryDetails's LGBT shrinking bookbox. The illustrations in this one promise to be amusing...
To be honest, I mostly looked at the pictures. :p
I thought the cover art/dust jacket combination was amusing too.

This book went to lunch with TOC and didn't come home with me. Enjoy!

This book was set free to find a new reader; I'm so glad you've found it!
This is now your book and you may do whatever you like with it, but I'm hoping you will read and enjoy it. You're welcome to keep it for as long as you wish, and you can even mark it for your "permanent collection" if you'd like...but you don't have to.
In fact, there are no requirements: it's really a free book - no strings. On the other hand, if you do make a journal entry to let the book's previous readers know that it's safely in your hands (anonymously if you wish), that would be super. :D
If you're new to BookCrossing, I hope you will take some time to explore this wonderful free and anonymous community of book lovers and learn about what it has to offer. If you decide to sign up, you may use me (hyphen8) as your referring member if you like.
When you're done with the book, please do feel free to make a journal entry saying what you thought of it or what you plan to do with it next. If you decide to pass it this book to another reader or leave it for someone else to find, joining BookCrossing will allow you to follow the book's future travels whenever another reader makes a journal entry...who knows where it will turn up next?

BookCrossing: making the whole world a library!
This book was found in the library of Purple58, a very special woman whom I was fortunate enough to meet through our BookCrossing group, the Table of Contents.
Fiercely independent, with a loving heart and a wicked sense of humor, she was passionate about the things she believed in and was willing to stand up and be counted when necessary. She was truly a one of a kind individual, and she will be missed by all of her many friends...who prefer to believe that she's off in Vegas, having a fabulous time and eating as many desserts as she wants.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
To be released Saturday, October 29, at the Happy Holly-Day party.
This book is released in memory of BookCrosser purple58, who wanted all of her books to find good homes after she was gone. Please feel free to read it, keep it, pass it on...whatever you wish. If you have something to say about the book, or a memory to share about Holly, please feel free to post it here: she was never shy about sharing her opinions, so she wouldn't expect any less.

Please take a moment to make a journal entry and let the book's previous readers know that it's safe with you.
How and where did you find the book? What did you think of it? What are you going to do with it next?
It's now your book, for you to do with as you please: keep it, pass it to a friend, or maybe even leave it where someone else can find it!
If you've ever wondered where your books go after they leave your hands, join BookCrossing and you may find out: you'll be able to follow the further adventures of your books as new readers make journal entries - sometimes from surprisingly far-flung locations.
(Think of it like Where's George for books: a little like geocaching or a treasure hunt - you can follow a registered book's journey every time someone makes a new entry. Some BookCrossers even leave books *in* geocaches!)

This book came home from purple58's wonderful send-off with me. I think Holly would have loved her final party and I'm glad I was able to be a part of it.
She wasn't big on journaling books, but she definitely believed in sharing them, and wanted her books to find new readers after she was gone.
I'd like to see some of her books go to other BookCrossers rather than releasing them all into the wild, so I'm sending this book off to Ohio as a very late half-birthday surprise.
(From a look at your wishlist, it seems like this might be something you'd appreciate - if not, I hope you can find another reader for it. I found some of the drawings rather amusing.)
