Journal Entry 3 by bookguide at Wijchen, Gelderland Netherlands on Tuesday, July 8, 2014
Rescued from the book table at the end of the meeting. I enjoyed reading 'Postmortem', the first of the Kay Scarpetta novels,so I'm tempted to read this myself before releasing in the wild.

Journal Entry 4 by bookguide at Wijchen, Gelderland Netherlands on Monday, August 22, 2016
My Goodreads review:
The only other Patricia Cornwell book I have read was 'Postmortem', the first in the Kay Scarpetta series. When I started reading this, I didn't know that it was the 11th in the series. Even though I'm sure I missed out on the backstory of a couple of comments, particularly the relationship between Scarpetta and Marino, it didn't stop me enjoying the book. There are plenty of twists and turns, suspense and unexpected occurences to interest me, although I don't often read this genre, so a more dedicated crime or thriller reader might have seen what was coming earlier on. All in all, this was perfect holiday reading, especially on a long flight.
