3 journalers for this copy...
Not sure that this is the best Paul Theroux experience and at times it felt a little too long. But overall I enjoyed reading this, I certainly learnt a lot of Chinese history from it.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Taking to the May Leeds Bookcrossers Meetup.
I do already have a paperback copy of this, which I can now put in the post to a Bookcrossing friend. Thank you Han_cat!
I read "Slow Trains to Simla", by the same author, earlier in the year and found it very good. It was one of the "Penguin 60" taster books that Penguin produced to celebrate their anniversary. So I am looking forward to this one.

I still have the paperback copy of this that I was going to post to friend. So I am going to keep and read that and pass this on. All will become clear in the end!

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
To be made available within SlackSpace and/or left lying around somewhere in the city centre .... As a hardback, this will probably be saved for a special Sunday morning scheme dreamed up by our Social Secretary :-)
Over a million people around the world give their books a unique BookCrossing IDentity number (BCID) before sending them out to find new readers. Since the start of the scheme in April 2001 well over 9 million such books have been put into circulation. This is one of them!
Our hope is that we can track the progress of our books once they've left our hands - and that's possible if finders like you visit the website, key in the BCID and leave a comment, however long or short. It's fun, it doesn't cost anything and you can remain anonymous if you wish. You don't have to join but if you do you'll be able to number and track your own books!
