Circle of Quilters
9 journalers for this copy...
This book is number 9 in Chiaverini's Elm Creek Quilts book Series. In this book she reaches out to quilters and nonquilters alike so pull up a chair--and join her circle of friends.
We've read books number 8 and 11 in the Series as they were bound in the same volume. Now we back up to book 9, "Circle of Quilters." Sounds as if there may be some major changes among the Circle of Quilters. Who's leaving and who's coming? There's always something unexpected going on.
This book is #9 in Jennifer Chiaverini's Series the Elm Creek Quilts Novels. With this mailing we are about half way through the Series. Everyone seems to be enjoying them. They've been moving along with very few problems and those few encountered were well handled by the members. The first two books have completed their trip around the world and arrived back in my mailbox in very good condition. They've both been sent out again to other members who have been waiting for them.
Arrived in my mailbox today, thanks!
I truly love reading this series!!

Thank you, books nr. 9 and 10 arrived! I will contact the next person on list to ask her address and if she still wants to join. I will probably start reading this on this weekend, after finishing the book I read now.

Delightful! It was so nice to return back to Chiaverini's world of quilting, it is such a cozy placce where people have their troubles but also happy moments. And it does make me want to take up quilting... Anyway, I liked this one in the series very much!
Sending to QueenSissi next.

It is safe with me! I plan to start reading it next week. Thank you!
I just loved the way the story quilted itself around the characters. I will not spoil this but it was probably my favourite one from the ones I have read so far.
Thank you weeder. I will be sending it as soon as I get Icila's address.

Travelling to Icila tomorrow.
So, this book got to my hands by mistake, but now I'm actually interested in reading it - if weeder, Icila, and the following readers in this BRing don't mind, of course! :)
What a lovely novel!
Although I haven't read any of the previous books in the series, it didn't make any difference.
The characters are really lovable, and made me root for every single one to get the job.
Thank you so much for sharing this book, weeder!
I'll contact Icila.
Also, twiggynomore asked for her name to be removed from the Ring list, since she's no longer interested.
*EDIT* It was sent to Icila today, July 25th.

The book was waiting safely at home with my husband and some other BC books while I was at the sea-side not far away.
Thank you Janeka, the Red Queen w'll travel to Alcobaça tomorrow.

Enjoyable as always but I would have preferred to know what happened since Sylvia's wedding.

Yay! The next in line has finally arrived. I have a number of rings and rays which rolled in while I was away for the summer, so I have a lot of fun reading ahead of me. I do have work-related reading to take care of as well, but I'll try to get to this soon so that I can read the next ones in the spiral and get them sent off. thanks so much for sending, and thanks for making all these books available!

This arrived just after I began the next in the series, but as this is contemporary and the next one historical, it wasn't a problem. Here are a number of applicants for positions opening at the Quilt Camp, and each section makes a little chain stitch into the next, it seems. I found myself rooting for each applicant, although I was disappointed by Russ's behavior when he goes for the interview. (no more details to avoid a spoiler). All's well that ends well I suppose. Still enjoying this series. I suppose my yen to quilt is partially satisfied vicariously with these books.
Thanks so much for making these available and for sending!

2013 for me is all about the Quilters! I think this is the 4th book in the series this year... Thanks for sharing, weeder, and penelopewanders, thank you for mailing it.
I have one book to finish, hope to start this one soon.

Another enjoyable read, one that really makes me want to look into quilting and give it a try. The stories about little quilt studios and shops, the camaraderie and creativity...my fingers started itching. We are clearing out some stuff, who knows, I might start working on something once one of the rooms is ready.
PM-ing the next reader.

Love this book. I have read it before, but it was just as good the second time. Back home to weeder soon.
And back home to weeder!!! Thanks!
This book is #9 of 19 of the Chiaverini Elm Creek Quilt Novels . On Mar. 11 2013 I mailed it to New Zealand then it went on to Finland, Portugal, France, Switzerland, Netherlands, back over the pond to Kansas in the US, and now safely back home to my mailbox. It was read by 8 people in 7 months! It's amazed me that these books are returning in very good condition. They've been enjoyed by lots of BC'ers. I'm going to keep all the books in this Series in my Permanent Collection but am willing to LOAN them to BC'ers who will return them to me. I'll also do further Rings if there are several requests for any given book.
Am sending this book on to disneyfreaksam in the UK. I'm asking that she return it t o me so I can keep it in my PC for any other BC'er who's interested in borrowing it.
