Set in outback NSW in Australia, Park Ranger Jo Lockwood stumbles across the body of a brutally murdered man. Detective Nick Matheson arrives to investigate and it is soon discovered that Jo has seen the killers face. Jo is in danger as the killer doesn't want her to testify against him so Nick and Jo must solve the crime and find the murderer before he executes Jo!
Love, love, loved this edge of the seat thriller. There is a tiny bit of romance between the two main characters - more of a gradually awareness of their mutual attraction - the focus is on the investigation and the twists and turns associated with it.

Great suspense with a touch of romance that kept me turning the pages. I want to read more by this author.
Southern Cross Exchange - July
thankyou so much for the parcel of assorted books :)
i have several of bronwyn parry's books on my wishlist and i thought this one was too... seems not - how did i miss that?? perhaps coz there are too many dark words in her titles
anyhow i met the author earlier this year when she was doing the book launch tour for her latest novel (and that is when i put all of her books, or so i thought, on my wishlist)
her novels are set a little further west than where i live
for a number if reasons unrelated to the author, i did not buy her novel during that visit - my willpower amazes me at times - hahaha
i look forward to reading this one as an intro to her work
thanx again
