My husband and I went to the gym today and on the way there we passed a man who looked like he had candy floss on his head, (just a strange hairstyle), then at the gym I was on a bike next to a man who smelt of rancid cheese! (I had to leave the bike and return later after the man had moved to another training machine)!
After one hour I went into the waiting room to get a cup of tea and I could smell the perfume of a lady sitting near to me and it reminded me of peaches! Then my husband said we would be dropping by the local supermarket so that he could get himself two cans of beer for the evening. Once in the supermarket I could smell bread cooking in the oven! Oh yes....there was definitely food on my mind today!! (Like always)!
Then I came home and found a large package waiting for me by my front door! This Nigel Slater Cookery Book was in it! Wow! I wasn't expecting it to be so very large and heavy. Thank you so much for paying out all that money to mail it to me.
What a really great book. So far I have only looked through a few pages at the front of the book, all with potato recipes! Oh my.....everything looks so delicious! My mouth was watering at all these potato recipes. I adore potatoes! I can't wait to try out some of these recipes, if not all of them! I have often cooked almost every recipe in a book that I liked before and this looks like one of those books that I like!
Pity I started dieting today for my daughter's wedding in June. But after that, well there will be no holding me back. I'll try everything I like the look of! I cannot express to you just how happy I am to have this wonderful book! Thank you for tagging me in the Wish List Tag Game!
