This is a special World Book Night (http://www.us.worldbooknight.org/) edition. World Book Night is a celebration of reading and books which will see half a million books given out in communities across America to spread the joy and love of reading on April 23, 2012.

This is one of my all time favorite, it's such a brilliant book, I want to share it with more readers. It's about some kids who are sent to the space to study to become military leaders to protect Earth from alien invasion. If you enjoy this book, the author has gone on to write a whole series; Ender's Shadow, a parallel story about Bean, is excellent as well.

I haven't finished Ender's Game yet. I am about halfway through and cannot put it down. I am captivated by the world created in the book of "buggers" aka aliens, that need to be destroyed in order to keep humanity alive. The premise of young children (6-16 years) in a military facility learning how to become generals and sergeants is intriguing and the main character, Ender, is an exceptionally extraordinary child with intellect and wisdom that surpasses most adults. I love this book and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!
