Jack and Annie are two ordinary children living in Frog Creek, Pennsylvania -- until they discover a tree house the woods, and are surprised to see that it's full of books. Even more surprising is what happens when they open a book: the brother and sister are magically transported to the time and place in which the book is set!

In this, the 17th book in this popular series for elementary-school kids, Jack and Annie are in for an exciting, scary, and sad adventure when the Magic Tree House whisks them back to the decks of the Titanic. Is there anything two children from the future can do to help the ill-fated ship? Will they be able to save anyone at all? Will they be able to save themselves?

Written at a second-grade reading level.

I snagged this from the LFL to do a special release with it in honor of a dear little friend we BookCrossers lost a few years back. She loved Magic Tree House books :-)

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

In 2010, I lost a DFL (Dear Little Friend, as they say in Narnia) named Becky. Her birthday was Valentine's Day. So every year on her special day I release books that remind me of her.

Learn more about Beck and how her warm, and caring (hugging!) nature lives on: http://BeckysHugs.com.

I chose this book because she enjoyed this series.
