This is Team Iron's release for Turn Two of BookCrossing Monopoly

It's the new Italian translation of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

This lovely little book has been fun to have, and because I know the story well, I can follow it to a certain extent - enough to know that Harry's parents did NOT morti in un incidente d'auto, and that Storia della Magia class is sleep-inducing in any language.

It's fun to see that Il Capello Parlante separates the students into Grifondoro, Tassofrasso, Corvonero, and Serpeverde, too.

(Pretty sure I wouldn't be able to do this with many other books, since my Italian is basically non-existent.)

Still, I think it's time for it to move on - I'll try to find someone who can actually *read* it!

This book went to a wonderful TOC lunch at ghir's place and didn't come home with me!

This book was found in the library of Purple58, a very special woman whom I was fortunate enough to meet through our BookCrossing group, the Table of Contents.

Fiercely independent, with a loving heart and a wicked sense of humor, she was passionate about the things she believed in and was willing to stand up and be counted when necessary. She was truly a one of a kind individual, and she will be missed by all of her many friends...who prefer to believe that she's off in Vegas, having a fabulous time and eating as many desserts as she wants.

To be released Saturday, October 29, at the Happy Holly-Day party.
