Life's Little Annoyances: True Tales of People Who Just Can't Take It Anymore
4 journalers for this copy...
small hardcover.
from the inside sleeve:
What can you do when the world is pushing you over the edge? More than you think.
I have a similar situation as one noted in the book - my home phone number is one digit off from a medical office. I just stop the person and give them the correct phone number, although quite a few insist that that is the number they dialed. I get messages on my answering machine several times a week for that office - especially from other doctors' offices - and average about a patient call a day. I guess my patience would be tested if it was a 24hr emergency clinic but I'm quite certain that I would not resort to what the situation in the book suggested.

What a nice surprise today - a box full of wishlist books! Thanks so much, Waterfalling, but you make me feel so guilty. I'll just have to find a way to pay-it-forward.
Lots of amusing tidbits in here. A few of these I don't run into too often since I live in a more rural area, but one that definitely gets to me is the failure of some people to be able to count the items in their cart when in the express aisle. I always feel bad on the occasion when a checker invites me into the empty express aisle if I have more items in my cart, thinking that makes me "one of those people."
There were many things in here I wish I had the nerve to do. I also thought it was interesting that some of the solvers of the problems were in more than one event. There must be something in their personality that makes them want to confront the problem-makers.
Thanks for sharing this with me, Waterfalling. This will soon be going out for a surprise RABCK, as soon as I read one more book.
