I was excited to read this because Andy is an acquaintance, and because I thought the premise sounded terrific. It's about a man born looking like an old man who progressively youthens over the course of his life. It's actually a heavy novel, beautifully written. I wasn't too sure in the first 100 pages, but as I really got into the story and Max's adulthood, I found I couldn't put it down. I also really enjoyed the turn of the century Bay Area setting.
