A Walk to Remember
7 journalers for this copy...
Thanks for sending me this. I cannot wait to read it.
Read this a couple months ago and I thought I journaled it. It was way different from the movie. I actually found that I liked the movie better. I usually like the books better, but it turned out to be the other way around . Hope someone else enjoys it.

BOOK DESCRIPTION: There was a time when the world was sweeter...when the women in Beaufort, North Carolina, wore dresses, and the men donned hats...when something happened to a seventeen-year-old boy that would change his life forever. Every April, when the wind blows in from the sea and mingles with the scent of lilacs, Landon Carter remembers his last year at Beaufort High. It was 1958, and Landon had already dated a girl or two. He even swore that he had once been in love. Certainly the last person in town he thought he'd fall for was Jamie Sullivan, the daughter of the town's Baptist minister. A quiet girl who always carried a Bible with her schoolbooks, Jamie seemed content living in a world apart from the other teens. She took care of her widowed father, rescued hurt animals, and helped out at the local orphanage. No boy had ever asked her out. Landon would never have dreamed of it. Then a twist of fate made Jamie his partner for the homecoming dance, and Landon Carter's life would never be the same. Being with Jamie would show him the depths of the human heart and lead him to a decision so stunning it would send him irrevocably on the road to manhood.

Found this book in my mailbox yesterday. Thanks for sending it, ToXiCKiTTiKiSS! It's now next on my to-be-read-soon pile.
Ah, this made for some lovely Christmas reading... very nice! I liked the fact that the story is told from the male perspective, which is quite rare I think. Thanks for sharing!
I will send this book after January 1st, so it won't get lost or blown up by fireworks or anything. Edit: sent January third.

Got this book in the mail today. I've been longing to read it ever since I saw the movie and its also my first Nicholas Sparks.
Thank you for sending it on wandering!

Just finished reading this. I had seen the movie earlier and was intrigued enough to know more. When I found out that this was originally a book by Nicholas Sparks I just had to read it. And I have no regrets. It is such a beautiful bitter sweet story that grabs you and stays on.
I loved the book...its simple, honest and well written.
PMing cicakgirl for an address.

Received the book yesterday. It took only days to reach me? Good job done by the postal services. Will try to finish it as soon as possible.

I could not put down the book since I came home from college. Been reading it in the car [although I get dizzy travelling by cars], at the dinner table [how rude? lol] and finally finished it in my cold room. Now I'm feeling like I'm getting the influenza virus or I might as well just fall asleep.
Two packets of tissues went with the book. I can barely open my eyes now ['cos they almost dried out]. The story is a simple one but is sweet; and very bitter. Moreover, it reminds me of my best bud who's having leukaemia. Overall, it is a very touching story. Nicholas Sparks sure did well in this one.
I feel so sorry reading the book and it reminds me to be grateful for what I have and continue to help people with what I have.
Thanks, ToXiCKiTTiKiSS, for organising this bookray and also to gussy916, for mailing the book to me. I really appreciate it.
Will be mailing it off to lisabb2 as soon as I get her mailing address.

Finally! Finally I've mailed the book to lisabb2 yesterday by surface mail.
Sorry for the delay because of the long Chinese New Year holidays over here.
Hope you enjoy the book!

Got this book in the mail recently. Will read shortly!!! Thanks.
Just finished reading this one last night...short fast read!!! I loved it...but it did make me cry. The story was great and loved the guys perspective. Since I'm the last one on this bookray, I'll either give it to another local bookcrosser or send it on to someone who has it on their wish list!!!
Picked up at Panera at our last BookCrossing Meetup. Will read and release.
Note: What a beautiful book. Will pass it along...
