This is by far the best love story I have ever read. Don't we all dream of having a Noah in our lives? Nicholas Sparks makes life's complexities seem so simple and inspiring. I am tempted to purchase my own copy so I can just pick it up and reread it on a rainy day. Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful story as a bookring ppagano.

UPDATE: 5/24/04 - This book has finally made it to the top of my TBR pile! I stayed up half the night reading it so I'm 3/4's through the book. I can't put it down!

What an inspiring love story. It made me smile, made me cry and left me feeling so touched. I can't wait to see the movie, although I don't usually like movies as well as books. Being married to the love of my life made it so easy to relate to this story....love like that connects two people in the most incredible way. In the story when Noah is talking about how two people have to be totally comfortable with each other to be able to sit in silence together I laughed. There are times my husband and I will sit together for several hours neither of us saying a word and yet there are so many wonderful things shared in that quiet time together, things that words are inadequate for. I'm looking forward to seeing this movie with him and holding his hand in that kind of shared quiet. Thank you so much for sharing this. I'm waiting for a response to my PM from nmarshall88 and then I'll get it out in the mail.
