I don't get time to read much other than my Bible, actually that's not quite right I don't make time to read anything else. I was rather surprised that I managed to read 192 pages of the vanishing act of Esme Lennox on the first evening I got it, and I finished it the next evening. I did find it odd swopping from person to person, but I got used to that and actually quite liked that format. The ending seemed to finish so abruptly, I was not ready for that and wanted it to keep on going. A timeless read which I am sure many more people will enjoy over the years to come. Thank you World Book Night and thank you Torpoint College English Department you have just re-kindled my desire to read more and more often.
I read the book very quickly at first I so keen to get to the end but then reread it carefully and really appreciated how compelling and moving it is. I loved the book.
I found this book in CHAT charity shop today. Im really glad to have found another book registered to bookcrossing as you don't really find many in the wild around cornwall
Going off to a member of the holiday gift giving
Thanks for this book and the other goodies in my HGG 2017 parcel.
I haven't read this and I don't think I've ever heard the title or author before so don't know what to expect from it.
I figured out why you chose to send this to me though. One of the main characters has the same first name as me and she's also Scottish like me. :)
