I'm not generally a fan of short stories but I can't resist a WBN book & I spotted this one in a charity shop in Girvan
Most of these tales were okay even though I wouldn't say the twists were a great surprise. I quite enjoyed the first few stories - "Taste" "Lamb to the Slaughter", "Man From the South" & "Dip in the Pool" are ones I particulary recall - but as the book progressed I found myself losing interest, so by the time I reached the final tale Claud's Dog" I was struggling to get through the four various parts.
