9 out of 10

After hearing all of the hype surrounding this book, I had very very high expectations when I began to read this book...

And guess what...I wasn't disappointed! This book was an exciting thriller that wove suspenseful storytelling with "factual" historical information.

That brings us to the issue of how "factual" the information in Da Vinci Code really is. Sorry, but I can't really answer that question :) I did a bit of online research as I was reading the book just to check the accuracy of the claims, but I don't think it is the type of research that can be casually performed.

So, I guess I will have to give in and get one of those "Decoding Da Vinci's Code" or "Secrets of Da Vinci's Code" books.

All in all though, this was a very enjoyable read that kept me riveted throughout. Add in the bonus that some of the information *must* be factual and I got a little bit of educational value to boot ;)
