Lovely story, but found setting a little far fetched.

Very thought provocating but rather difficult to understand. I feel that it had hidden depths which so far have escaped me and I shall have to think about it much more.

I really enjoyed this book! The last half was riveting and I devoured it in just over an hour. It reminded me of a combination of the Hunger Games and Atonement. The unusual way of setting out speech made the book read like an internal monologue which I personally really loved. The only drawback was that the setting gave the book a World War 2 feel and I had to constantly remind myself that it is set in the present day/near future so mentions of the internet and mobile phones didn't feel so out of place!
