Ellie Winters is dependable and loyal and has a near-phobic aversion to conflict. I love it when I buy a book and read it in the same day!! That means it never really makes it to my TBR pile!! This book was really amusing....I really enjoyed it!! It was a 5 hour read for me, so I would say that it was light reading as well! Hope all who read after enjoy!!

The funny thing is that I went shopping today at Target, and I *bought* this book! How funny it was to open up the package from you & find the same title inside! Since I haven't registered the one I bought, I'll just take it back to the store!

I'm halfway through this book, and loving it! I hope the second half is just as fun!
Yay! I'm all done! I really enjoyed this book. I didn't quite feel any 'chemistry' between Ellie & Ted, but I liked their characters and the overall story.

Pushing 30 is here! Just the fun, mindless read I'm looking for this week. Thanks for sharing!
I'm reading this during my lunch hour(s) at work. Unfortunately a hectic time of year has left me with precious little reading time of late. Took some "me" time at lunch today and made some headway in this. I got several odd looks as I continued to laugh out loud at Ellie's antics. Looking forward to finishing this one up over the holiday weekend (a light read after what will most likely be a heavy meal) and get it off to christine-bpc in Texas!

I have to agree with ellymae... I don't exactly feel a "chemistry" between Ellie & Ted -- but that doesn't stop me from wanting them to work out. Thanks for sharing -- as I start the down hill slope to 40, a nostalgic (and humorous) look at the transition to thirty-something was a lot of fun. Off to either christine-bpc or arugh48187 on Saturday.
