GREAT book. Only my second Koontz book, don't know why in the hell I waited so long to start reading his stuff. I loved all the different levels of paranoia in this book. The madman's obvious paranoia, and various degrees with our hero: the car following them, the gas station attendant, the hotel clerks, it was everywhere. Alex was a great character, really found his backbone toward the end of the book. This was very fast paced and kept me turning the pages with anticipation. Going to send this to my mom soon.
