Wow - this travel fast! How did you do it? :)
Thank you! This seems interesting, if I just remember read it right... Thank you also for the Indian magazine called comic Jump. You didn't register that one but maybe you should. I think it will have many interested readers in Finland, so I will pass it on. And bookmarks! Thank you for those too as well as the post card. Well, you mentioned "salmiakki"... I will remember that, beware! ;)

This was weird story, but in a good way. I liked it. I actually enjoyed the story. Many mangas are so strange or difficult to understand that I don't get those. This was different. Drawing was great and I really appreciated the sense of humour. I don't say no if I came across the next book of this series. Shinigami was my favourite character though it could have been more scary. Now it looked just funny.
This was interesting reading, thank you ecuas! This book is now reserved for certain purpose...

Enjoy!
Enjoy!
Arrived safely in Helsinki today. Necoconeco knows the series but hasn't read any of the books yet (I think at least), I remember seeing the translation in Finnish sometimes in the shop, but didn't check it out at the time as we were following so many series already at that moment...
Thanks for sharing, will be fun to read!

Very interesting first part of 13 (snif) and with interesting in-between pages too. Hadn't expexted anything good from this one, as translations are not always that good, but this one worked out quite well.
Some luck we still have some coupon for online books, guess we'll give the series a try and get the other parts of it (wondering if we should get the number 14 too, written by a different person and with an alternative ending...)
This on stays as TBR, necoconeco is reading it for the moment ;-)

OMG hippolein, you've overdone yourself this time! If being decoy means getting FIVE thick comic/manga albums, there's no need to really win the sweeps :D :D :D Thank you ever so much!!

To be honest, this must have been the first manga I've actually enjoyed. A solid story with somewhat interesting and believable characters. I just couldn't get over the stupid, clown-like face of the Shinigami...the body of the creature looked totally monsterous, but the stupid bulging eyes, heck no. The thing looked more like a crossbreed of a Disney hyena and a badly drawn Joker! Noticing hippolein mentioning there are 13 albums to the series made a think twice about looking for the rest of the series..but I'll definitely keep my eyes open!

I took the book because I was curious; I have heard something in the net about this manga.

What a weird story! The main character Light is clearly a psychopath, which made the reading experience a little bit uncomfortable for me. But I liked shinigami's look a lot - except the bulging eyes. Also, I kept wondering about the name "Light". Is it translated from Japanese or is he called "Light" also in the original story? Why?
