I got this book at the library book sale.
I like these western romance stories by Linda Lael Miller. An easy read, likable characters, and my favorite a happy ending. Attorney Steven Creed adopts the orphaned boy of his best friends and moves to Stone Creek. There the first great looking woman he sees is county prosecutor Mellissa O'Ballivan. There seem to be an electric charge between them. Can a criminal lawyer and the prosecutor co-exist? Fall in love? Anything's possible in Stone Creek!

Thank you! I was finding every variation of the Creed and Stone Creek titles except this one. I don't know why this was so hard to find.
Now I have almost all in the series. Putting aside for now, so I can read the series as a marathon.
