This is one of the books that weren't taken at the school Spring Fair on Saturday and that I'm hoping to find new readers for. Having enjoyed both this and another book by the same author, The Island, I'm more than happy to pass it on with my whole-hearted recommendation! However, it's a while since I've read it, so don't feel I can write a meaningful review!

One of 10 books given to millycat when OldKnees and I spent a delightful afternoon in the Spring sunshine with her and her husband at a lovely manor house and gardens belonging to the National Trust. I don't expect her to read them all, especially as she's already familiar with many of them, but I'm hoping she'll use them to restock a couple of OBCZs in the area. I didn't have a chance to visit any during our brief weekend away. Thank you!

Over a million people around the world give their books a unique BookCrossing IDentity number (BCID) before sending them out to find new readers. Since the start of the scheme in April 2001 well over 8 million such books have been put into circulation. This is one of them!
Our hope is that we can track the progress of our books once they've left our hands - and that's possible if finders like you visit the website, key in the BCID and leave a comment, however long or short. It's fun, it doesn't cost anything and you can remain anonymous if you wish. You don't have to join but if you do you'll be able to number and track your own books!
