CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

Jodi Picoult is my favourite writer, right after Kristin Hannah, they write in a similar way , I guess.
I recently read ‘sing you home’ however, and have to say I like the later works less so than the earlier days writings.
Or perhapse I just haven’t read enough of them to be sure.
In this novel, I particularly liked Fitz ;))))))) and Sophie and the ‘protagonist’ herself.
I was not too fond of most of the other characters, nor of what happened in prison.
I’ll end it here, or I’ll spoil the fun for the next reader … who is the person that had this on her wishlist and won my 1000-books registered RABCK.
ENJOY !

I liked this book. I had thought about passing it to my mum in law but think it deals with too many issues she isn't fond of reading about. So it is on to the available pile until I find a suitable home for it.

This was a really good read. There we're definitely a number of difficult issues that this book dealt with, but Jodi Picoult never shies away from dealing with difficult issues, so it was not a surprise. I very much liked the way the story went and the nuances in the book. Nothing is ever black and white and there are always two sides to a story.
