I picked this up from under Bridge 83 on the Grand Union Canal along with The Other Side of the Bridge. At first I thought that they must have left especially for me as the former Bridge Inspector for Milton Keynes, made (illegally) redundant for whistle-blowing over bridge problems and also with fuiture plans for building canal boats! I have read the second one and started this one. I enjoyed the first and am enjpying this one.
