I have enjoyed this book many times over the years, so when I saw it sitting on the used bookshelf, I just had to find a good home for it. This classic Canadian novel is winging its way all the way to Finland! Isn't Bookcrossing amazing?!
Enjoy the book!

Wow, that was fast! I've used to wait mail from Canada for ages, never, never have I received anything from there this fast. Once I mailed (air mail, I had money then) package of books to myself and expected it to be waiting for me when I got home some five or six weeks later. Turned out I had t wait for my books several months more. Another time I sent a letter to someone living on the other side of town, Thunder Bay. He got it two weeks later. I love Canada but Canada Post … well, this it did great. :)
The book looks divine. I'll have to go and delete it from my wishlist. Thank you so much, herchelle! As I told you earlier, I happen to think Canadian fiction is the best in the world. And Who Has Seen the Wind is a book I've really, really wanted to read. THANK YOU!
Thanks also for the Calgary postcard and for the bookmark. You know, I think all kinds of literature and reading related bookmarks are the best. The one you sent me is Calgary Public library bookmark. It's perfect. I love it!

Edited to add that, according to Wikipedia, “Quill & Quire listed Who Has Seen the Wind at number 7 on their list of the top 40 Canadians novels of the 20th century.”

ETA on Dec. 31, 2014 that this book is still in my TBR but also reserved as my January offer in greenbadger's One book a month offered 2015 thread.

Loved it. Absolutely loved it. It's so full of warmth and life that is seldom seen in literature. I'm sure Who Has Seen the Wind is one of my best reads this year — maybe even the best.
Thank you so much for sharing this book with me, Herchelle!
This book is so great I wanted to find it a good home. And I did — by offering it in greenbadger's One book a month thread. It was won by motherof11, so the book will leave for Netherlands next week.
