Really looking forward to reading this!
An intense book, full of original voice, quite humoristic and very engaging. Especially since I heard Adnan read parts of the book at the convention, it's like I have the authors voice in my head whilst reading.

Boka er vel fremme i Telemark! Den er jeg spent på å lese! Dere som var på conventet skrøt sånn av forfatteren at dere gjorde meg nysgjerrig på å lese denn boka.

I was taken in form the very first page! A strong book! I liked his way of writing. Some of the stories was just brilliant in form and contents, in my opinion. I had to read so e of the book in small portions, to let the feelings created by the reading, sink in.
Thank you Deepswamp to arrange this bookring! I would never have discovered this author without taken part in this ring.
Ps. I didn't get an answer to the title, I mean I still don't know How to fare well and stay fair.. If it's not the humour that keep us staying fair..

The book arrived today!
I'm trying to read this, but I'm struggling. Though this book is beautifully written, intelligent and in general a lovely read, it feels as if I'm trotting water, and not going anywhere. And I can't explain why. It's as if I'm just not in the mood for this kind of book at the moment, which is sad, as it really is a book I'd love to read. I'm not sure what to do about this, but I will PM Deepswamp and ask if it will be OK if I put it on hold for a tiny moment, and read another book, before giving it a new, and hopefully more fortunate, try...
I am so happy I decided not to just give up on this book! I've been spending my week end at an island in the south of Norway without Internet, and had lots of time for reading!

Sorry it has taken me so long to get this book off, but life has been crazy busy with a new job and everything lately.

This was waiting for me as I came home from my summer holiday. Will get to it shortly, if not today...
This will be among my top 10 reads this year for sure! I sincerely loved this one.

I actually feel confused. Not by the book, but by the fact that I didn't like it.
I was so certain that I would like it but I did not.
However I think the writer is really skilful in mastering the language.
More than once I thought about to just stop reading it and don't finish it. But then I did so anyway since it is fairly short. And I'm glad I did because there actually was one chapter that I liked - the one about the boy Adam and his grandmother.
Will be sending it back to Deepswamp shortly.

Thank you. It came in the mail today. Look forward reading this. I did regret not buying it in Göteborg when I had the chance, but now I get to read it. Even if I can't remember joining any ring or ray for this. It's nice to have an RABCK.

When Deepswamp sent me the book she enclosed a post card saying that you and pulcherrima wanted to read it too. And furthermore that it doesn't have to return home! Thats why!

I have now read the book. And when I read the parts the author read in Göteborg, I could hear his voice in my head. That was the best parts. It was a interesting book.
This in now on its way to Denmark.
En dejlig overraskelse her næsten et helt år efter en dejlig weekend i Gøteborg med BookCrossing Convention.
Bogen kom med posten i går, og jeg glæder mig til at læse den.

Det er nogle meget rørende små fortællinger, og selvom den hurtigt var læst, så tog det et tid at bearbejde den. Jeg kunne ligeså tydeligt leve mig tilbage i forfatterens oplæsning sidste år, da jeg læste kapitlet "Vacation: A travelouge". Det var en dejlig oplevelse.
